The 10th Annual Keep On Climbing Golf Tournament will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at Manderley on the Green. This is the fifth tournament we have held for Wounded Warriors.
In addition to a great day of golf and fabulous prizes, we have a fantastic guest speaker again this year. Julie Jolicoeur is a retired primary care paramedic from the city of Ottawa. After being diagnosed with PTSD over 12 years ago she has worked tirelessly as an advocate for mental health awareness. She is the mom of 2 girls, wife of a tactical paramedic and volunteers weekly with CHEO and the Ottawa Humane Society. She will be bringing her service dog named Dillon.
More big news! For the simple action of getting a hole-in-one, you will win a 2017 RAM 1500 truck. There is only one, so be the first to get one. Just put your ball on the green and let it do the rest, but make sure you talk to it first! Sometimes they don’t listen.
All proceeds will once again go to support Wounded Warriors’ investment in service dog programs for veterans suffering from mental illness such as PTSD.
